Composite (White) Fillings
Tooth-colored composite fillings offer a natural-looking solution for restoring teeth affected by cavities. These fillings can typically be completed in a single visit. After removing the decayed portion of the tooth, the composite material is placed and hardened immediately, restoring both function and appearance.
Request an AppointmentPulp Treatment (Pulpotomy/Pulpectomy/Baby Root Canal)
Pulp treatments address decay or damage within the inner part of the tooth, known as the dental pulp. If left untreated, the pulp will deteriorate over time. A pulpotomy involves removing the affected pulp tissue, disinfecting the root canals, and filling them with a restorative material. This process helps preserve the tooth until it naturally exfoliates (falls out) at the appropriate time.
Dental Crowns
A dental crown is a full-coverage restoration used to protect and strengthen a tooth with extensive decay or damage. The process typically takes two visits. At the first appointment, the tooth is reshaped and an impression is taken. A temporary crown is placed while the permanent crown is fabricated. During the second visit, the permanent crown is precisely fitted and cemented in place, restoring the tooth’s structure and function.
Extractions
When a tooth is too damaged to be restored, extraction may be necessary. The procedure begins with the administration of local anesthesia to numb the area. The tooth is gently loosened using a dental instrument called an elevator, and then carefully removed from the socket.
