Comprehensive Oral Evaluation
A comprehensive oral evaluation is recommended every six months to help prevent cavities and other dental issues. This exam includes a detailed assessment of the mouth, head, and neck to identify any abnormalities early on.
Request an AppointmentDental Cleanings (Prophylaxis)
Regular professional cleanings are essential for maintaining healthy gums and preventing cavities. Each cleaning involves removing tartar and plaque buildup, followed by polishing the teeth to eliminate surface stains and help prevent future plaque accumulation.
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that strengthens teeth and helps prevent decay. As part of our pediatric dental care, fluoride treatments are applied in gel, foam, or varnish form to provide extra protection for young teeth.
Digital Radiographs
Dental X-rays are an important diagnostic tool used to detect tooth decay, extra teeth, bone issues, cysts, tumors, and to monitor the success of past treatments. With modern digital radiography, radiation exposure is reduced by over 50%, and high-quality images are available immediately for both the dentist and the patient to review.
Oral Hygiene Instructions
At each check-up, we provide oral hygiene guidance to both children and parents. Effective home care helps prevent plaque and tartar buildup that can lead to cavities. Instructions cover proper brushing and flossing techniques, as well as the use of mouth rinses when appropriate.
Dental Sealants
Dental sealants are a protective resin coating applied to the chewing surfaces of teeth—typically the permanent molars—to prevent cavities. The sealant flows into the natural grooves of the tooth, creating a barrier against food and plaque. Application is quick and completed in a single visit.
